The Van Chase is one of two key scenes picked by Erik Woods (Cinematic Sound Radio) for my personal composing challenge. The goal was to see what a different scoring approach does with those scenes. What you see below is the Van Chase scored with a more traditional orchestral approach and the intent of reflecting the different stages of the chase. There’s also thematic material in it, but I guess it’s only recognizable as such when you listen to more than this one scene.
As with the other video I apologize for the soundtrack being not that well balanced because I had to mute certain frequencies of the original music and that’s why my music certainly plays too loud in this mix.
