This is some special news I’d like to share here: John Williams is finally coming to Europe!
He will conduct music from his various scores on October 26th 2018 at the Royal Albert Hall. Given his age, this might be my last chance to see him live. Having seen Goldsmith and Horner concerts some years ago, this would finally complete the holy trinity of film music composers for me.
If you want to be there as well, be sure to secure your tickets soon, because while I booked mine entire categories were already disappearing from the website (presumable because they sold out insanely quickly). I can only imagine the rush tomorrow (2018-02-16) morning at 9:00 AM London time when official sale starts. If you’re friends with the Royal Albert Hall (another 45,-) you can purchase tickets early on. That’s what I did.
